Mimbres Paquime Connection.

Our Bi-National membership meetings are held bi-monthly on the 3rd Saturday of each odd numbered months, at the Pink Store in Palomas. All meetings begin at 10:00am. The next one will be held March 17th. The meeting will start at 10:00 AM in the space use east of the Restaurant. Please attend this meeting. The agenda will include:

Action on the Sister Cities Mayors Conference

Action on the FAM trip by US mayors to Mexico

Action on the plans for the Border Arts Gathering.

Action on the E-Newsletter (advertising) and web site (2006 Annual Report)

Action of the MPC screen saver project

Action of needed resources and an executive director

Reports on REDTT funding and annual conference

Reports on Black Range Funding and future meetings

Other Items brought to be discussed



MPC Board meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM and locations will be announced here.

"STUDENT" - $15.00 - Open to any full-time Secondary School, or full-time University, Community College or Vocational School students in the United States or Mexico. Student members will receive a membership card and will be entitled to one (1) vote at all Mimbres-Paquime Connection (MPC) membership meetings. Benefits also include: reduced trip fees for any MPC-sponsored tours/vacations; usage of MPC logo (non-liability) to denote membership; eligibility for participation in cultural/student exchange events; eligibility for discounts at all MPC-sponsored events; member discounts offered by participating MPC businesses and sponsors; and name listing on the membership roster in each quarterly issue of the Mimbres-Paquime Connection Magazine*.

"INDIVIDUAL" - $20.00 - Open to any individual residing in the United States or Mexico. Individual members will receive a membership card and will be entitled to one (1) vote at all Mimbres-Paquime Connection (MPC) membership meetings. Benefits also include: reduced trip fees for any MPC-sponsored tours/vacations; usage of MPC logo (non-liability) to denote membership; eligibility for participation in cultural/student exchange events; eligibility for discounts at all MPC-sponsored events; member discounts offered by participating MPC businesses and sponsors; and name listing on the membership roster in each quarterly issue of the Mimbres-Paquime Connection Magazine*.

"FAMILY" - $30.00 - Open to any household family unit. Family memberships will include membership cards for all household family members, and will entitle each family unit with two (2) votes at all Mimbres-Paquime Connection (MPC) membership meetings, provided at least two members of participating family unit are in attendance. Benefits also include: reduced trip fees for any MPC-sponsored tours/vacations; usage of MPC logo (non-liability) to denote membership; eligibility for participation in cultural/student exchange events; eligibility for discounts at all MPC-sponsored events; member discounts offered by participating MPC businesses and sponsors; and family name listing on the membership roster in each quarterly issue of the Mimbres-Paquime Connection Magazine*.

"GOVERNMENT" - $100.00 - Open to any federal, state, county, municipal or tribal government agency or entity in the United States or Mexico. Government members will receive a certificate of membership from the Mimbres-Paquime Connection, and will be entitled to appoint one (1) individual to serve as their voting representative at all Mimbres-Paquime Connection (MPC) membership meetings. Benefits also include: usage of MPC logo (non-liability) to denote membership; listing of government agency/entity in all MPC promotional publications; advertisement of government agency/entity membership participation at all MPC promotional events; and government agency/entity listing on the membership roster in each quarterly issue of the Mimbres-Paquime Connection Magazine*. Benefits (excluding voting privileges and membership cards) similar to those offered to "INDIVIDUAL" members will be available to any employee of a government MPC member upon presentation of a copy of government agency/entity certificate of membership.

"CHAMBER OF COMMERCE" - $100.00 - Open to any local Chamber of Commerce in the United States or Mexico. Chamber of Commerce members will receive a certificate of membership from the Mimbres-Paquime Connection, and will be entitled to appoint one (1) individual to serve as their voting representative at all Mimbres-Paquime Connection (MPC) membership meetings. Benefits also include: usage of MPC logo (non-liability) to denote membership; listing of Chamber of Commerce in all MPC promotional publications; advertisement of Chamber of Commerce membership participation at all MPC promotional events; and Chamber of Commerce listing on the membership roster in each quarterly issue of the Mimbres-Paquime Connection Magazine*. Benefits (excluding voting privileges and membership cards) similar to those offered to "INDIVIDUAL" members will be available to any employee of a Chamber of Commerce MPC member upon presentation of a copy of Chamber of Commerce certificate of membership.

"BUSINESS" - $150.00 - Open to any for-profit business entity in the United States or Mexico. Business members will receive a certificate of membership from the Mimbres-Paquime Connection, and will be entitled to appoint one (1) individual to serve as their voting representative at all Mimbres-Paquime Connection (MPC) membership meetings. Benefits also include: usage of MPC logo (non-liability) to denote membership; listing of business entity in all MPC promotional publications; advertisement of business entity membership participation at all MPC promotional events; and business name listing on the membership roster in each quarterly issue of the Mimbres-Paquime Connection Magazine*. Benefits (excluding voting privileges and membership cards) similar to those offered to "INDIVIDUAL" members will be available to any employee of a business entity MPC member upon presentation of a copy of business entity certificate of membership.

"NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION or COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY" - $75.00 - Open to any non-profit organization, or any college/university in the United States or Mexico. Non-profit organization or college/university members will receive a certificate of membership from the Mimbres-Paquime Connection, and will be entitled to appoint one (1) individual to serve as their voting representative at all Mimbres-Paquime Connection (MPC) membership meetings. Benefits also include: usage of MPC logo (non-liability) to denote membership; listing of non-profit organization or college/university in all MPC promotional publications; advertisement of non-profit organization or college/university membership participation at all MPC promotional events; and non-profit organization or college/university name listing on the membership roster in each quarterly issue of the Mimbres-Paquime Connection Magazine*. Benefits (excluding voting privileges and membership cards) similar to those offered to "INDIVIDUAL" members will be available to any employee of a non-profit organization or college/university MPC member upon presentation of a copy of non-profit organization or college-university certificate of membership.
