Grant County Courthouse	Scenic and historic treasures as rich as its name await the Mimbres-Paquime Connection Loop Trail visitor to Silver City, New Mexico.	The famous "Kneeling Nun" rock formation can be seen in the distance while traveling south from Silver City along US Hwy 180.

Founded in 1870 by a group of prospectors who discovered silver in the nearby hills, present-day Silver City is consistently ranked as one of the "100 Best Small Towns in America," and boasts a thriving "Main Street New Mexico" Program in its historic downtown district.	The Silver City Museum, located at 312 W. Broadway, is the former residence of Silver City pioneer H.B. Ailman, and is listed on the State and Nat'l Registers of Historic Places.
